Pastor Crystal Watson
Pastor of Outreach & Evangelism
Pastor Crystal Watson is the Founder of Church Without Walls. In 2008 God gave her a vision to take the church to the community as opposed to imploring the community to come to the church. So, she gathered up a tent, sound system and chairs and located an empty plot of land in the Northwood housing community area and began having 11:00 Sunday service outdoors, later on her son Pastor Jamail Watson joined her in this ministry.
God revealed to her that there would be churches birthed out of Church Without Walls; and today the first Church to be established is Risen Life, where her son Jamail Watson serves as the Senior Pastor and she also serves as the Pastor of Outreach and Evangelism
No stranger to serving in ministry, at a just about every level, it comes as no surprise that Pastor Crystal has served in the church most of all her life and at an early age it was recognized that God had a special call on her life to reach, teach and preach to the lost and unsaved. Pastor Watson was licensed to preach the gospel in 2000 and was ordained in 2006.
Pastor Watson is a proud Nana to two beautiful granddaughters; Riyan & Reagan Watson and the daughter of the late Rev. Johnny Scott Pastor Emeritus of Shiloh Baptist Church in Venice, Illinois. In 2017 Pastor Watson retired from the Missile Defense Agency as the Director of Business and Financial Management for the THAAD program after 35 years of Federal Government experience in the Business Financial Management area. She holds a BS in Accounting from Southern Illinois, and is a CPA licensed from the state of Missouri.
Pastor Watson is the proud Owner and CEO of Integrity Counts LLC a financial consulting and accounting and booking firm serving a wide range of clients in the Tennessee Valley. Pastor Watson has a passion and commitment to serve those that society has overlooked and under valued and she strives to extend hope to the hopeless whenever the opportunity is afforded to her to do so.

The Rise...
Church Without Walls Church began as an evangelistic outreach ministry geared toward taking the church outside its structural walls into the community as opposed to pleading the community to come to a church building. At it's conception the mission of Church Without Walls was to provide a platform for ministers to establish and build their own church congregations through this evangelistic opportunity that was founded by visionary Founder & Outreach/Evangelism Pastor Crystal Watson. In the summer of 2009 under the direction of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Crystal Watson was led to launch a movement to go into the city and preach the gospel. With just five people in front of the Calvary Hill Center in Norwood, Church Without Walls ministry conducted its first service. Within 5 years through the power of the Holy Spirit under the dynamic preaching and teaching of current Senior Pastor Jamail Watson Church Without Walls grew from 5 people to 60 members holding services twice a month, with a growing desire from members to establish a more permanent place of worship the first church of its kind and prayerfully first of many, Risen Life Church Without Walls was birthed. Risen Life Church Without Walls Launched in the Fall of 2018, under the leadership of it's current Senior Pastor Jamail Watson. The initial call to operate outside the walls of traditional church limitations, remains at the forefront and interwoven in the fabric of the Church's culture. Though Risen Life Church Without Walls has become an established congregational body the outreach ministry still housed under the founding name Church Without Walls continues to venture outside the walls to provide opportunities to minister to those in the community and provide a platform for ministers to establish more permanent church congregations in surroundings communities and areas.
